Meet your therapist
Hello,
I'm Paula Ghelman, a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist in Ontario and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California and have worked with various settings providing mental health treatment in Los Angeles and Toronto, including Didi Hirsch, Centre for Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH) and the University of Toronto.
Specializing in treating individuals 18 and older, I offer expert support for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. My diverse training in evidence-based modalities—including CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and attachment theory—allows me to provide a holistic and personalized approach to therapy.
I address a wide range of mental health challenges, including self-esteem, emotion regulation, relationships, grief and loss, existential dread, women's issues, stress, and burnout. If you feel adrift, have lost your sense of self, or are stuck in a cycle of stagnation, I am here to guide you through these complexities.
Together, we'll embark on a collaborative journey of self-discovery and healing, using tailored therapeutic techniques to address your unique needs. Let’s work towards restoring balance, finding your inner strength, and rediscovering a sense of purpose.
